New RAM 1500 Sport. 5.7 V8 HEMI MDS VT eTorque Engine with Mild-Hybrid system which gives the car extra torque of 172Nm in low-speed range rpm. While most of the Ram 1500’s electrical systems still use traditional 12-volt power, eTorque is actually a 48-volt system. It uses the aforementioned motor/generator, an eight-rib belt with two tensioners, a DC-to-DC converter to change 48 volts to 12 (for the traditional electrical systems), and a battery pack about the size of a small suitcase that can store up to 430 watt-hours of energy. Engine power 390HP and 555 Nm of maximum torque. Four Wheel Drive (4WD) with following modes: 2WD, 4WD Auto, 4WD High, 4WD Low.

Active Air Grill– grille with movable blades for improved aerodynamics and engine heat. HEMI (Fuel Saving Technology) – automatically controlled system disconnecting four cylinders in driving modes when not needed full engine power.
