Car introduction
Ford Bronco is back after 25 years! The original american SUV with a cult following came back to life in its sixth generation as a pure offroad monster with ambitions to join the ranks of the top modern terrain oriented vehicles. Excelent driveability is ensured by the culmination of advancement across the whole Ford lineup since the last Bronco generation. Offroad capabilities are based on the trusted pickup line such as F-150 or Ranger models, its comfort and luxury is inherited from the Explorer model line or the Lincoln lineup.
The Badlands 4×4 version, powered by a 2.3L Ecoboost engine, delivers 300 HP and 440 Nm of torque. It features a 10-speed automatic transmission. The brand-new H.O.S.S. suspension system includes independent front suspension with long-travel control arms inspired by the Raptor lineup. At the rear, you’ll find a durable M220 Dana 44 AdvanTEK solid axle with five-link suspension and progressive springs, paired with Bilstein shocks. The Badlands version adds a mechanical transfer case with an automatic 4A mode, a disconnecting front stabilizer bar for better axle articulation (up to 32 km/h), and Spicer Performa-Trak front and rear locking differentials.
The Bronco comes equipped with the Sasquatch Package – a unique off-road package that allows you to go virtually anywhere. It includes a shorter 4.7 gear ratio, lifted axle clearance with high-performance suspension, 17″ aluminum Beadlock wheels, and 35″ LT315/70R17 BSW Mud-Terrain tires. An interesting feature is the Trail Turn Assist, which works in 4H and 4L modes by applying brakes to the rear wheels during sharp turns (at speeds under 19.3 km/h), reducing the turning radius on slippery surfaces by up to 40%, significantly improving the standard 12.1-meter radius.
The Bronco also boasts the G.O.A.T. (Goes Over Any Type of Terrain) drive modes, which adjust the suspension, transmission, and steering response for maximum adaptability to all terrain types. Depending on the version, it offers a selection of modes: Normal, Eco, Sport, Slippery, Mud/Ruts, Sand, Rock Crawl, and Baja. Additionally Trail Control acts as a low-speed off-road cruise control. Brand new Trail 1-Pedal Drive system for extreme rock crawl situations allows for one pedal driving without manually searching for the perfect gas/brake operation. The system automatically applies the hydraulic brake upon releasing the gas pedal for ultimate terrain power and torque control.
One special feature of the Bronco, similar to the Wrangler, is the ability to remove the front and rear doors, front roof panels, or the rear roof and cargo cover. This allows the vehicle to be customized for both on-road and off-road adventures. Inside, the Bronco offers comfortable leather seats with orange stitching. The front seats and leather multifunction steering wheel are heated. The driver has access to a small digital cluster next to the speedometer, which shows water, oil, and transmission temperatures, power distribution between the wheels, and a tilt indicator. The vehicle also features dual-zone digital climate control and a large 12-inch Sync 4 infotainment system with wireless integration for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The Bronco comes equipped with a comprehensive suite of driving asistants, including adaptive cruise control, a 360-degree camera, and a parking assist system. Keyless entry and start are standard, and a premium Bang & Olufsen audio system with 10 speakers and a subwoofer provides high-quality sound.
