Car introduction
The new Chrysler Pacifica Limited AWD is a family minivan that has been named Minivan of the Year for seven consecutive years. The interior of this vehicle offers seating for 7 passengers and a generously versatile interior space. Despite being a minivan, its exterior boasts a sleek and dynamic design, powered by a reliable 3.6L Pentastar V6 VVT engine, delivering 287HP and 355Nm of torque. The vehicle ensures a smooth ride with its 9-speed automatic ZF transmission, paired with an AWD system that intelligently distributes torque between the front and rear wheels for maximum traction in all driving conditions.
A standout feature of the Pacifica is the Stow n Go seating system. This innovative design provides ample underfloor storage while allowing the second and third-row seats to fold flat into the floor, creating a completely flat cargo area with an impressive capacity of 3,978.5 liters. According to the manufacturer, the Stow n Go system offers up to 243 different seating and storage configurations. The 7-seat interior includes two manually foldable captain’s chairs in the second row, and three electrically foldable 60/40 split seats in the third row, which can be controlled from the cargo area. The vehicle also features a built-in onboard vacuum with an effective filter, perfect for quickly cleaning up small messes from kids.
The Limited trim adds a touch of luxury with exclusive perforated Nappa black leather, including leather-wrapped dashboard and door panels. The front seats are power-adjustable, heated, and ventilated, with the second row also offering heated seats. The vehicle’s comfort is further enhanced by a panoramic sunroof, tri-zone automatic climate control, and practical sunshades for the second and third-row seats. The driver has access to a 7-inch configurable digital cluster between the gauges and the updated Uconnect 5 NAV infotainment system with a large 10.1-inch high-resolution touchscreen. This screen provides a clear view of the rear seating area from multiple angles, allowing the driver to monitor a child in a rear-facing car seat, for example. Wireless support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto is standard, and there’s also a console with a wireless charging pad upfront.
This model is equipped with the optional Uconnect Theater Family Group, which includes two 10-inch HD touchscreen monitors for the second-row passengers. These monitors are equipped with Amazon Fire TV, enabling streaming of music, games, and movies via the built-in 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot. The system also supports Blu-ray, DVD, and USB playback. The onboard entertainment is complemented by a premium harman/kardon sound system with 19 speakers and a subwoofer, delivering 760W of power.
As a family-oriented vehicle, the Pacifica comes standard with a wide range of driver assistance features, including adaptive cruise control with Stop and Go, forward collision warning with emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and an optional automatic parallel and perpendicular parking system paired with a Surround View 360 camera. The vehicle also offers keyless entry and start, a heated leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel, and heated, power-folding exterior mirrors. For added convenience during loading and travel, the Pacifica features a power liftgate and sliding doors for the second row, including hands-free operation.
